"Intiailly started in 1997 by my mother as a local agarbatti brand with several poor women of tribal community skilled in manual agarbatti making with organic compounds. Gradually it turned out in a successful local brand and enganged handsome sales. The business was not quite profitable but she didn't shut off as it would have been quite disastrous for the families enganged with the venture. It has been 25 years since the business has been simmering on not with a motive of profit but with an intention of helping others and staying united in tough times.

Urban Ganges is an Indian brand crafting exquisite home fragrance products comprising an Indian essence tuned with Western touch and feel. Our workshop is based in Prayagraj, the city which marks the confluence of the Ganges, where we handcraft all our products using natural high-quality organic compounds through manually intensive processes.
