A rose petal sprays crimson shimmering breaths,
an orange peel settles in the juicy spring rain,
yellow fields spill droplets on the valley wind
yearning to grow green and fill with light’s life.
Blue patches scatter behind departing clouds,
raging violet from the ground in the distance.
A misty star and its wet shadow sing on the horizon.
Brilliant girl’s ribbons dangle from the sky,
radiating a glow across the iridescent valley.
February’s sun went painting today.
