we are all part
John, Paul, George
and Ringo
though some of us
are far more
Peter, Paul and Mary
others
are simply Simon
and Garfunkel
and we should all
sow our Hall and Oates
while staying
Laurel and Hardy
about the Abbot and Costello
slapstick shtick
of it all
and remember
we will not be
Crosby, Stills, Nash
and Young forever
so it is best
to Sonny and Cher
our moments
while we can
before we break
apart like the atoms
of the Addams Family
for aren't we
just spinoffs
of Sanford
and Son
and the Holy Ghost?
