Relax
This poem cannot get
your life back on track
or live your best life,
or replace you with
the best version of you –
axioms your therapist
repeats. This poem
cannot fire therapists
as much as it would
like to. This poem, being
honest, can’t do much
for you because it
hasn’t lived, instead
it’s like riding a subway
whose tracks have
been removed, replaced,
removed every few
kilometers and offers
no assistance for line break,
rhythm or that sort
of thing. This poem
has no meaning. No, don’t
look there. It hasn’t
hidden anything.
