someone asked me
If I could remember any day
when love was pure
I said that love is pure every day
it is us who have gone astray
lost in the social media hype
asea trying to live to stereotypes
so distant from our minds
that we miss all the signs
that are clearly in front of us
love never stopped being pure
love never asks for anything more
than for us to be true to ourselves
its purity is unlike any other concept
and the only way for us to
truly see the purity in love
is to step outside of ourselves
understanding that the vulnerability
is the sweetest form of sincerity
bringing that purity to being
